Picture Peace was a Ohio youth art contest where kids explored the topic of gun violence prevention through artistic expression.

Recognizing kid’s artwork increases awareness of the public health issue of gun violence – while fostering a culture of peace!

By involving teachers and utilizing the classroom environment, the program provides a safe forum for education and discussion. Student participants use their chosen medium to voice ideas about gun violence in our culture and create their own vision for peace.
