03.28.15 Legislative Update: 11 Bills

Just a few months into the new session, there are eleven gun violence related bills in the Ohio legislature. That's a lot to keep track of already. Rest assured, we'll continue to monitor the statehouse and keep you informed as bills are introduced, assigned to committees, testimony is offered, and votes are made.

Speak from the Heart

This February, Ohioans are celebrating love with friends and family. Tragically, countless Ohioans have been touched by gun violence through the death of a loved one, neighbor, or community member.

Over 1,200 families of men, women, and children lost a loved one to gun violence in Ohio in 2011. That means more people died in Ohio that year than from guns than motor vehicles. The time to act is now.

Speak from your heart to those left behind in these senseless tragedies. Sign our e-card to the loved ones of gun violence victims at http://www.ohioceasefire.org/hearts/
