Jennifer Thorne, executive director of Ohio Coalition Against Gun Violence, makes the following statement:

“We are saddened and horrified by the tragic shooting and apparent hate crime this week in Charleston, S.C.

"Our hearts are with Charleston as we keep the victims, survivors, families and entire community in our thoughts and pledge to continue working to keep guns out of the hands of dangerous people."


Action Alert: Say NO to Guns Everywhere bill

The Guns Everywhere Bill (sub HB 48) has just been passed out of State Government committee. That means this dangerous bill could go to a floor vote in the Ohio House as early the session this afternoon.

Legislative Update: 06.15.15

True to his word, Representative Maag is continuing to push through some controversial gun policies through his committee. Sub HB 48 is scheduled for a possible vote out of the House State Government committee this week.
