Guns:
Tools of violence- lethal products designed to kill and injure human beings.

First the gun lobby wanted to carry loaded hidden weapons in public places 'for defense'. The Ohio legislators obliged. Then they claimed they needed them in the parks and the US Congress obliged.

Now the gun lobby is advertising in the churches. Gun Rallys are the new push! In the last few weeks it was bring your gun to church in a Kentucky church and a gun rally at a church in Toledo.

Next- The gun lobby has targeted schools to be the next place to sell fear.

The suffering caused by our gun culture is real. Our families and children are less safe because of the proliferation of deadly and loaded guns being carried in public.

Values should reduce the access to these tools of violence and not promote weapons and fear if we are ever to reclaim a peaceful and just society.
